The artists involved in ‘Kinghorn Artists’ are all art graduates with a connection to the village. The ‘fine art’ nature of the work in the exhibition varies from year to year, reflecting the individuality of the artists involved; sculpture, watercolours, oils, relief prints and mixed media could be seen in 2010, with many of the subjects related to Fife. Because the artists set up and man the exhibition themselves, there are always two artists present to answer questions about the work.
The dates for 2012 are Saturday 21st –Sunday 29th July, 10am -
Hope to see you there. For more information please contact: Lynette Gray , 01592 890279, email@example.com
The Kinghorn Artist’s exhibition has become a popular annual event in Fife since the first opening in 2003. The exhibition runs for nine days during the last week in July and is held in Kinghorn Community Centre.
2010 saw a significant increase in visitor numbers and the support of the Community Centre management and staff proved invaluable, as always -
The people of Kinghorn help enormously with their encouragement and enthusiasm..
2010 was the eighth show with nine professional artists exhibiting;
Sheena Berry – guest artist
Kerry Watson – guest artist.
