Kinghorn Community Council

...as at 9th September 2010

What is the community council?

Kinghorn Community Council was formed in 1978 and it is run by twelve volunteers elected by the community every three years.  The purpose is to co-ordinate and express the view of the village to Fife Council and other public bodies. The community council is required to promote community participation.

Over the years it has been involved in a wide range of issues covering local planning, transport, leisure facilities, environment and local services.
