This is a headland course in an attractive coastal setting with spectacular views in both directions of the Forth Estuary. It is an 18 hole, par 65 course and provides quite a challenge particularly when the wind blows. It is a public golf course. The neighbouring Burntisland Golf Course is within two miles of Kinghorn.

A major focus for Kinghorn Sailing Club is introducing people to the sport and equipping
them with the skills needed to get started. But it's not just about beginners as
even intermediate level sailors can benefit from some of the courses on offer.
If
you want to learn to sail or improve your abilities then Kinghorn Sailing Club has
much to offer you. Courses are run over two weekends in early summer and autumn to
teach complete beginners how to sail to RYA standards.

Kirkcaldy Canoe Club training sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm at Kinghorn Loch from April to October. Over the winter we have a varied programme, more details can be found on the website.
All ages are welcome to come along and try canoeing. Bring a change of clothes.

Craigencalt Ecology Centre is situated in gently rolling hills overlooking Kinghorn Loch. On this unique and beautiful site we offer the opportunity to gain direct experience of the environment, through many organised and informal activities including environmental education training for school staff and play leaders, tours, volunteering opportunities and workshops & events.
All are welcome to walk around and enjoy the lochside.

Sustainable Communities Initiatives are a Scottish registered charity working with waste and helping people live more sustainable lifestyles.
At the Earthship Fife Visitors Centre which has idyllic positioned overlooking the loch we are currently supporting the local communities of Kinghorn & Burntisland as part of the Climate challenge Fund project. We also provide organised tours of the Earthship – a fully autonomous building made from waste, Creative Waste Workshops, building of Plastic Bottle Greenhouses, & Staff Away Day Activities.

Walk stretches of the Fife Coastal Path which allows you to walk from Newburgh to
Kincardine, a distance of 150 km. The coast between Kinghorn and Kirkcaldy and through
to Leven is wonderful, and full of history and wildlife -
